It can be hard to find a perfectly balanced outfit during the transitional seasons that’s also budget-friendly! To make the changing weather easier, I’m sharing a week’s worth of outfit ideas that’s perfect for work, errands, or going out. All of these pieces are available on Amazon at an affordable price!
Outfit 1: I’ve talked about this seamless halter bodysuit numerous times and it’s because of how versatile it is. It’s a great base for any outfit like when paired with these shaping skinny jeans layered with a lightweight knit cardigan. I love how it almost looks like a classic trench coat but is much more comfortable! Added some lace-up platform sneakers and a checkered tote bag to finish the look.
Outfit 2: This season is also the best time to pull out your lighter pullovers like this striped fleece crewneck sweatshirt. A light material like this will keep you cool during the day yet still enough to keep you warm as it gets chilly at night. You can wear it with standard straight-cut jeans, high-top sneakers, and a catch-all vegan shopper handbag for all your essentials.
Outfit 3: Flannels are another great transitional staple piece because of their forgiving material. Start your outfit with a cropped ribbed tank top with high-rise flare jeans. You can tie your plaid button down around your waist and easily layer it on as the day gets colder. Complete the look with classic canvas white sneakers and a trendy crossbody handbag.
Outfit 4: You can also try out the crisp white cropped t-shirt and skinny jeans combo. This look works as a great backdrop for a lot of different outerwear. But I’d opt for a faux leather jacket in this beautiful coffee color for something edgier. It’s a subtle way to incorporate some texture to the look without the stark contrast of the usual black leather. Add on your favorite go-to stylish white sneakers, a wide-mouth tote bag, and you’re good to go!
Outfit 5: For something more sophisticated, you can check out this puff sleeve sweatshirt and pair it with faux leather leggings for ultimate ease. I love that this outfit works as a smart casual top yet still hits the mark in comfort. Cover-up with a mid-length trench coat for warmth, a top handle shoulder bag, and Chelsea booties for added height and femininity.
Transitional weather can be unpredictable so remember that the trick is to layer! It’s good to have something that you can instantly add to the look to keep you warm.
